Designing and Producing Media for Learning

Harvard Graduate School of Education

Designing and Producing Media for Learning is an interdisciplinary graduate-level course offered to students across Harvard. Through this course, students develop media in support of specific learning goals. Projects have included everything from a mobile app designed to support professionals in developing public speaking skills to a cartoon focused on preserving indigenous languages.

As a Senior Teaching Fellow and Co-Instructor, I lecture on a range of topics, from centering learning objectives in the design process, and integrating emerging technologies, including AI, into creative workflows. I facilitate technical workshops, provide one-on-one project mentorship, and guide students through a rigorous, iterative design process. My role centers on ensuring that each student’s work is grounded in educational theory.
