I currently co-teach a graduate-level course at Harvard called Designing and Producing Media for Learning. Previously, I was the Director of Innovation and Design at a Boston area school, where I supported faculty and students in exploring creative learning and critical making. I developed and taught two computer science courses that lean heavily toward of creative and expressive applications of CS. Additionally, I ran a fab lab equipped with a variety of traditional tools, like sewing machines and cameras, as well as digital fabrication tools, like 3D printers and laser cutters.
Previously, I worked as a Creative Learning Designer in the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, designing educational experiences that engage learners in creative programming activities with Scratch, and creating content that supports the work of educators across a variety of learning environments.
